This is a good looking handlebar stem, nicely machined and finished quite well, there are machining marks, most noticeably on the top of the clamping sections and the marks are not symmetrical on the left and right side but they don't bother me. Unfortunately mine came with some damage. It has a scratch/dent on one clamp which was immediately noticeable even through the packaging. Other defects are minute and to be expected. I would rate the item 4 stars with no damage. It's not easily noticeable from the stock photo but this stem body does have an empty threaded hole for attaching a speedometer bracket.
